Wells is committed to achieving the highest possible standard of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management,
while ensuring regulatory compliance, in all of its activities.

Providing an environment, where HS&E Management is treated as an integral part of everything we do, is fundamental to the continued successful operation of the Group.

Wells’ approach on HS&E is comprehensive. It has a team of 570 health and safety representatives (all team members are encouraged to be responsible HS&E advocates).

Wells put considerable effort into a holisitic approach to HS&E, focusing on a system where staff are driven to excellent HS&E and Quality outcomes, whether it be related to themselves or others.

This is enshrined in the company’s documents “Our Guiding Values and Ethos” and the ‘Wells Cycle of Service Provision”.

Free from the use of alcohol and drugs at work

Conduct a Job Safety Analysis prior to working

Conduct gas tests when required

Verify isolation before work begins, use specified equipment

Plan your journey taking into consideration all factors

Wear your seatbelt

Do not smoke outside designated areas

Never walk under a suspended load or platforms with workers

Working closely with health and safety specialists and partnership with client organisations, Wells has developed a collection of lifesaving key health and safety policies.

We call them the Wells Lifesaving Principles...

The Lifesaving Principles are identified precautionary actions that if conducted, can prevent death/save a life.
